
Babysitter’s Training
Babysitting Course – Ages 11 & Up
The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training program is designed to prepare youth ages 11+ to safely and confidently care for children and infants.
It includes hands-on activities, videos, and discussions to develop essential, real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding, diapering, picking up and holding children, safety, and emergency response.
Length of Course: Approximately 8 hours
Class Size: Minimum 5 participants, maximum 12.
Cost: $20 per participants
What you get:
Training from the CAC team (see here for the very detailed list of topics)
Red Cross Certificates (Babysitting, First Aid/CPR/AED)
Snacks, light meal (depending on course timing)
When & Where:
We will offer classes at various times here at the CAC.
If you would like to host a class, we will be happy to work with you to find the right dates/times to make this happen.
