“Growing through what we’ve been through”
TIPS Group
Trauma-Informed Parent/Caregiver Support Group
This group provides a supportive, judgment-free space for parents and caregivers of children who have experienced trauma, abuse, or significant stress. The group focuses on helping caregivers better understand trauma, strengthen coping skills, and feel less alone in their parenting journey.
This is a support and psychoeducation group, not individual therapy. Caregivers are encouraged to share at their own pace. No graphic details of trauma are required or expected
Participants will:
Learn how trauma can impact children and families through group discussions and case studies
Explore strategies for managing stress and emotional reactions
Build skills to support their child’s healing
Connect with other caregivers in a safe and supportive environment
